Oh, the joy of having dresses hand made for my body! You would think that because of this-because of having things made that are hand tailored for my body-that all of the dresses I had made wold be a smashing success.
You would be wrong.
The lesson I learned: Just 'cuz something is hand fit for your bod, doesn't mean it's a good look. Unfortunately, I did not figure this out until after making a hefty purchase of a dress with waaaay too many pleats for my hips. I look to be about double in size. Which, is such a shame really.
But, what I also learned is that boddy hugging sheath dresses are perfect for me. Hilight the hourglass figure, without squeezing things too much.
Now I know.
